Sign, merge, split, compress — everything runs in your browser. No account. No upload. No catch.
A free PDF toolkit. Every tool runs locally in your browser without uploading your files.
audit.json. Anyone can verify it. Nobody else does this without asking for something in return.22 free tools · also: HTML→PDF · Markdown→PDF · Reorder · Delete · Bates · OCR · Repair · Browse all →
DocuSign charges $25/month. Adobe Sign requires an account. HelloSign locks audit trails behind a paywall. Signegy gives you a cryptographic audit record — free, no signup, no catch.
Stays on your device. Nothing uploads. Open DevTools and watch the network tab.
Type, draw, or upload. We SHA-256 hash the result and bind it to a timestamp.
Two files: signed.pdf + audit.json. Anyone can verify. Forever.
We're not being poetic. It's the architecture. Every tool on Signegy runs client-side.
Your PDF never touches our servers. Processing happens in the browser using pdf-lib, pdf.js, and the Web Crypto API. Open DevTools and verify it yourself.
Files process at the speed of your machine, not a queue somewhere. Signing is near-instant; compression and conversion scale with your file and your CPU — never gated by our infrastructure.
The code is public. If you don't trust our word, read the source. The cryptographic implementation is fully auditable and based on open web standards.
The architecture has zero per-user cost. Your browser does all the work. Our server does almost nothing — it serves static files. There's no compute to bill, no storage to fund, no per-operation fee that needs recovering. The cost of running Signegy is basically a CDN bill.
The PDF toolkit market is dominated by tools that charge for things that should be free. Smallpdf paywalls compression after two files. ilovepdf adds watermarks on the free tier. Adobe requires a Creative Cloud subscription to do what a browser can handle natively. We think that's wrong.
There is no upsell planned. No "Pro" tier holding back features. If we ever build something paid, it'll be clearly additive — new functionality you're not already expecting for free.
We're not the right tool for every use case. Multi-party enterprise signing? Go DocuSign. For everything here — Signegy wins on every row.
